HOMELESSNESS IN CLARK COUNTY

Homelessness since 2023 has been growing by 20 percent every year. The largest age group is between the ages of 35-44. African Americans are 42 percent, followed by 64 percent being women in shelters. Nationally around 40 percent will experience homelessness by the age 26 years old.

In my opinion, that is just putting a bandage on the problem, not a solution.

Many homeless people on the streets are there for different reasons. Many are veterans, many our mentally out there, and others our out their for losing their jobs and home do to the economy.
