The State Legislation needs to codify this Federal Legislation into state law. The Federal Government has passed a law the "Infrastructure Investment and Job Act" that requires large transit agencies to create a safety plan for assaults on transit workers. Assault is an "ACT" in which someone knowingly interferes with, a transit worker while performing the duties.
My determination as a running Candidate for Nevada State Senate is to fight for transit workers and the safety of our passengers.
